We make our own dog collars and leads (or leashes depending upon where you are from) too. We have the Weims to thank for this, well one particular Weim, Shadow.

We arrived at Delamere Forest one day with a very young Shadow, who had a great talent for snapping collars. Having bought the strongest collar we could get our hands on at the time, we were relaxed about getting him out of the car when *ping* yet another collar snapped. Parking at that particular place was alongside a 60mph road, and we were very lucky that we had an emergency stop command for Shadow. He hit the floor on command, had he not, he could have been killed.

So we set off to make our own collar and lead, and we made one that outlasted Shadow, who was 13 when he died.

We use poly webbing and fittings in brass, amongst others, which are all suitable for use with horses, and we have even towed a car with one of our leads! Other items such as tracking harnesses are made to measure.
