Achievements
16/05/2009 At
Hibernian Championship Show Anya was awarded Green Star and BOB by Mr A
J Amaral (Spain) and 2nd in the Gundog Group by Mrs K Creamer, of
Ireland. This was Anyas first show after her litter, and her first show
for a year. We are very proud of our Anya.
04/05/2008 At
South Tipperary Canine Club, in Ireland, Anya gets reserve Green Star
and reserve CAC under Judge Mrs S Jarmer, of Australia.
03/05/2008 Anya
did it
again!!!!!!! Over the water in Ireland, Anya went Green Star, CACIB,
and then BOB at Fermoy Canine Clubs All Breeds International
Championship Show. The judge was Ms. M Dekaristou, of Greece. She gave
each dog a verbal critique, as she was judging, and her comments
included 'beautiful front angles, the best so far, great rear
angulation, good topline, beautiful head and forechest'. Again
given the quality of the Weimaraners present, we are very very proud of
Anya. Thats 3 CACIBs from 3 CACIB shows in Ireland, what a result.
22/03/2008 Duncan
and Anya went on a trip over the water to Ireland. Finnish judge, Ms S
Bister, gave Anya her best day so far, when she awarded her Green Star,
CACIB, and BOB, at the Easter Classic, Combined Canine Club
International All Breed Championship Show. Praising Anya highly for her
structure and substance, the judge was very enthusiastic about her.
Anya has been to Ireland 2 times now,
each time winning the Green Star, and CACIB under International judges.
This is Anyas first BOB, and given the dogs that were present , we are
very proud of her. This confirms again that under International judges,
Anya can and does prove herself. It may make things a little slower to
achieve, but rest assured that this proves that Anya is a quality bitch
of worldwide standard. So far the International Judges who appreciated
Anya have been from the following countries : FINLAND (X2), ITALY,
AUSTRALIA, GERMANY, IRELAND, AMERICA, ISRAEL, SWITZERLAND.
We are so proud of our girl.
16/06/2007 Anya
CACIB in Ireland!!!!! Anya won the CACIB and Green Star from Champions
class at Swords and District International Championship Show, under
Italian judge Mr C DeGiuliani. There were a total entry of 14
Weimaraners, 9 Bitches, 5 dogs. We are very very proud of Anya, yet
again she finds favour with overseas judges. What an introduction to
Ireland!!
07/04/2007
Anya is placed 2/13 in a very strong Limit class at the North of
England Weimaraner Society breed show under Australian judge Carol
Wright (Grauhund Kennels). This gives her a qualification for Crufts
2008! In all there were 186 Weimaraners entered, so this was a
fantastic achievement for Anya. It is great for us to do this at an
English show, and we are especially proud of Anya's placing today.
31/03/07 Anya gets CACL and Res CACIB at Luxembourg under German
judge Peter Beyersdorf. This completes her LUXEMBOURG CHAMPION
title!!!! Even better to do it under a judge from the homeland of the
Weimaraner, a real privelege. Anya was 1/4 with an excellent mark, and
there were 26 Weims at Luxembourg show. We
are so happy, so proud to own Anya and so grateful to her
breeders for allowing us to have her, and of course to the
international judges who just keep on placing her. She is one of a
fantastic litter, and boy are we so lucky with her. Only once in her
European shows has she come home without at least a RCACIB, long may
this be so!!!!
02/03/2007 Anya

shoulders, very good topline, well angulated hindquarters, very good

27/08/2006 Reserve CACIB

correctly. Friendly natured".
02/07/2006 Windsor Championship Show Judge Mrs Tina Morris (UK) 5th place Post Graduate Bitch class.
03/12/2005 Maghull and
Merseyside Canine Society Open show Judge Mrs Sue Adams (UK) Best Puppy
and Best of Breed. This judge was overjoyed with Anya, and praised her
head in particular.
Anya was bred by Krzysztof Szwarc and Magda Osinska, Fala Love'a
Kennels, in Poland. She is from their first litter (and oh
my what a litter!). She is a very elegant, substantial bitch with a
beautiful head and a very happy nature. We 'found' her litter and
thought that we would
book a puppy from the next litter out of 'Nasti' , but fate took a
hand, and Anya, who was thought to have been booked, was available.
Without much thought to the logistics of bringing a puppy
in from Poland, we immediately booked her!
As the pet passport process took 9 months, and Anya was only 2 months
old, we knew we had a long wait before she 'came home'. In the
meantime Anya would be spoilt rotten by Magda's Mum, and Duncan was
able to visit Anya twice thanks to Kriss' parents putting him up in
their lovely home. Anya eventually joined us in November 2005. She
settled into life with us and our son, Luke. They are the best of
pals, and Anya takes everything Luke throws at her. If you ask Luke who
is his best friend, he says 'Anya', and although she cannot speak, her
adoration of him shines through.
Anya is the type of dog that people stop you in the street for. She has
been praised by complete strangers for her nature, and most who meet
her are smitten by her ways. Do not, however, be fooled. In this bitch
lives the spirit of the true Weimaraner.
Anya has been shown
both on the Continent (Netherlands and
Luxembourg), Ireland, and in the UK. She has a 2 BOB's at CACIB shows, 3 CACIB's, reserve CACIB's ,
3 Green Stars (Irish CAC equivalent, 7 are needed now for Irish Champion), CAC's
and reserve CAC's, from the shows she has
attended to date. Anya
has been placed at Championship shows in the UK, and has had a best
puppy of breed, and best of breed at an open show. All of this is very
nice for us, but Anya is, of course, our pet. She lives at the heart of
our home, where she belongs.
