We are Duncan and Nina Houslay and we have been owned by Weimaraners since 1993. We bought our first weimaraner, Shadow (Vandergrey Smokey Shadow), a male, as a pet and ended up showing him, training him for civilian working trials , and doing competetive agility with him. He was followed by Amber (Khamsynn Crackling Rose), her son Jensen (Alkemist Lunar Eclipse) and here we are now, as happens with so many Weimaraner people, many years later and still owned by them!

Nowadays, as we have a young son, we enjoy our dog days slightly differently. Our dogs are expected to be a big part of our family. We still appreciate the working ability of the Weimaraner, and you will see from our dogs that they are all from excellent working or workable stock. Indeed we are proud to have bred Weimaraners that work in the field and water whenever required (Photos in 'Bred By Us'). 

We often describe ourselves as normal but I think any fellow Weimaraner owner will laugh at that description. It takes a degree of abnormality to devote your time to this breed.

We are extremely proud of the dogs that we have had the privilege of owning. They have brought friends into our lives, they have made us laugh, made us cry and at some times given us a look that says it all. We hope that you will enjoy reading about them on our site.
